Wildlife Warriors

About This Project

Wildlife Warriors was started by Steve and Terri Irwin at the Australia Zoo. The Irwins became patrons of the charity and had Australia Zoo become the Major Sponsor, committing to cover all administrative costs. A generous contribution such as this allows Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors to apply 100% of all public donations received directly to the conservation and preservation of wildlife.
What they do?
  • Support conservation of wildlife through research projects
  • Australia Zoo Wildlife rescue hospital
  • Conservation of marine life
  • Conservation of Sumatran Tigers, Cheetahs and Black Elephants
  • Traffic – an organisation to monitor the illegal wildlife trade

Where do my shopfunding points go with Wildlife Warriors?

A contribution of just 100 points can buy essential supplies for the hospital. 500 points can save 1 Sumatran Tiger in the wild for 1 day – there are just 500 Sumatran Tigers left on the planet.
